Technical & Structural Review

Technical issues don't have to be dramatic to cost you customers. Slow load times, broken mobile layouts, confusing navigation, and missing trust signals can quietly undermine an otherwise good website — without you ever knowing they're there.

What we look at

  • → Page speed and load performance — does your site load quickly on both desktop and mobile? Slow pages increase bounce rates and are penalised in search rankings.
  • → Mobile usability — is the site genuinely usable on a phone, or is it a scaled-down version of a desktop layout with small text and awkward tap targets?
  • → Structural setup and navigation — is the site architecture logical? Can visitors find what they need without effort, and does the structure support how search engines index your content?
  • → Foundational SEO elements — page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text, and other baseline elements that affect how search engines understand and rank your pages.
  • → Trust signals and credibility — does the site look and feel credible? Are there security indicators, contact details, clear ownership, and other signals that build confidence?

Technical health affects everything else

Even the best messaging and conversion strategy will underperform if the technical foundations are weak. A page that takes too long to load, doesn't work properly on mobile, or fails to meet basic SEO requirements will lose visitors before they've had a chance to read a word.

This section of the audit doesn't require you to understand the technical detail — the findings are translated into plain language with clear explanations of what each issue means for your website's performance.

Health Check

You'll know what needs fixing, how urgent it is, and what's involved in resolving it.

Technical problems are often the easiest to fix and the last to get attention. A clear list of what's wrong — and in what order to address it — changes that.

Need help making the changes?

If the technical review identifies fixes you'd like help implementing, we can assist with that too. Whether you need someone to brief a developer or handle the work directly, just mention it when you get in touch.
